CPN Completes the ‘Largest’ B24 Biofuel Delivery in Hong Kong

Marine bunker company Chimbusco Pan Nation (CPN) has completed what it said is the largest single B24 biofuel delivery in Hong Kong and the largest among all Chinese ports, supplying 5,500 metric tons of B24-LSFO to the vessel XIN LOS ANGELES.

“This milestone highlights our logistics expertise and supply chain management capabilities, reaffirming our position as a leading biofuel supplier in the Greater China region,” the company said in a release. “The ability to provide stable and efficient B24 biofuel supplies remains the key to our success as we support the shipping industry’s transition toward cleaner energy solutions.”

Since 2021, CPN has established a dedicated taskforce to conduct research on alternative fuels, including marine biofuel, which aimed at contributing to a more sustainable shipping industry. In 2024, the company said, it supplied more than 44,000 metric tons of biofuels in Hong Kong, which it said accounted for more than 96% market share.
