Investment in Nature Company Rebalance Earth Names Ruston Smith as Chair of the Board

UK-based asset manager Rebalance Earth which focuses on investment in nature as critical infrastructure, has appointed Ruston Smith as chair of the board.

Smith has more than 40 years in the pension fund and investment industry including chairing large pension funds, asset managers and private market companies. He served as CEO of Tesco Pension Investment Ltd. and later chair. He has also has served as a trustee and non-executive chair of pension investment organizations including J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Smart Pension, Pensions Management Institute and others.

“I’m delighted and proud to have been appointed Chair of Rebalance Earth,” Smith wrote in a LinkedIn post. “This is such an excellent opportunity to work with others and make a real, and much needed, difference to our natural habitat–the UK’s nature based infrastructure.”
