Climate venture capital and private equity investment platform Carbon Equity, has raised €105 million for its Climate Tech Portfolio Fund III. The Amsterdam-based company now manages over €300 million through nine investment funds in climate tech and infrastructure.
Climate Tech Portfolio Fund III invests in climate innovations including green hydrogen, which is considered a leading alternative fuel for the maritime industry. The company provides an opportunity for individuals with a minimum of €25,000 to invest in climate venture capital and private equity funds across several industries. It said the first returns typically come in after five years with the aim of returning all capital invested around year seven.
