L&G Asset Management has appointed Trista Chen to co-lead global investment stewardship with her colleague Maria Larsson Ortino.
Chen joined L&G in 2023. In her previous role she served as Head of Investment Stewardship in Asia. She leads firm-wide thematic and sectoral engagements, focusing on human rights, climate, people, governance, and nature.
Before joining L&G, Chen was a partner at global sustainability consultancy Environmental Resources Management, where she was responsible for the financial services industry and M&A service strategy in APAC. She has almost 20 years of experience working in the evolving ESG and climate change landscapes.
She holds a Master of Environmental Design from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science, Honors Science and Business with a Chemistry minor from the University of Waterloo.
